The Machine Stops

I recently illustrated a short story called "The Machine Stops" by E. M. Forester. It depicts a dystopian world where the entire human race lives in individual, underground pods, connected to The Machine. It was written in 1909 and predicted many technologies such as the internet, social media, video chat, articifial intelligence, and international air travel. I tried to imagine the technology the way Forester would have over 100 years ago.
